EXPANDING TIME & SPACE
11 April 2026 │ 10:00 – 17:00 │ Zürich
Through physical dance training rooted in partnering and contact-based exercises, we awaken a refined awareness of the gaze — how we look, how we are seen, and how movement and camera meet. From there, we shift into improvisation experiments that treat the surrounding environment as an active partner, opening new ways to create choreographic scores for the camera.
We explore:
- What truly changes between dancing on stage and dancing for the screen?
- How can we guide and play with the viewer’s focus?
- In what ways can the frame itself become part of the choreography?
This masterclass invites you to dance within a new paradigm and dive deeper into collective uncertainties where time and space are flexible.
Suitable for: Dancers, choreographers and filmmakers that have a movement notion / desire to explore dance.
