DANCE ON SCREEN – Masterclass mit Philippe Saire – Les Sirènes
Philippe Saire, der seine choreografische Praxis zu neuen Horizonten entwickeln wollte, realisiert seit Jahren Filmprojekte, u.a. im Rahmen der Reihe Cartographies, deren Fortsetzung sein neuester Tanzfilm Les Sirènes ist, der in dieser Masterclass vorgestellt wird. Philippe führt bei seinen Filmen selbst Regie, filmt und schneidet sie und veranschaulicht in dieser Masterclass seine persönliche Herangehensweise und die enge Verbindung, die er zwischen Film und Choreografie hergestellt hat.
Im Anschluss kann Les Sirènes zusammen mit weiteren Kurztanzfilmen aus aller Welt im DANCE ON SCREEN – Programm SHORTS gesehen werden.

Philippe Saire, who has wanted to develop his choreographic practice to new horizons, has been making film projects for years, including the Cartographies series, the continuation of which is his latest dance film Les Sirènes, presented in this masterclass. Philippe directs, films and edits his films himself and in this masterclass he will illustrate his personal approach and the close connection he has established between film and choreography.
Afterwards, Les Sirènes can be seen together with other short dance films from all over the world in the DANCE ON SCREEN – program SHORTS.

Für Film- und Tanzschaffende bietet DANCE ON SCREEN Masterclasses an, die von Persönlichkeiten aus der Film- und Tanzfilmszene geleitet werden und die ihre Herangehens- und Sichtweisen und Know-how mit den Teilnehmenden teilen. DANCE ON SCREEN versteht sich als Plattform und möchte mit dem Masterclass – Angebot zur Entwicklung und Festigung des Genres beitragen und Film- und Tanzschaffenden die Möglichkeiten bieten ihre Kompetenzen zuzuspitzen, ihr Netzwerk und ihr Arbeitsfeld auszuweiten und potenzielle Kollaborationen anzustossen.
Die Teilnahme an einer DOS-Masterclass beinhaltet jeweils auch den Besuch des laufenden DANCE ON SCREEN – Filmprogramms.

DANCE ON SCREEN sees itself as a platform and wants to contribute to the development and consolidation of the genre and offer film and dance makers the opportunity to sharpen their skills, expand their network and their field of work and initiate potential collaborations.
Participation in a DOS – Masterclass includes the visit of the DANCE ON SCREEN film program.
