ENGLISH
Strange figures linger among the trees, a creature is born from a sea of grass and feathered bodies make their way through the dust. Circe offers a view of a landscape full of mythology and legends. Those who cast their eyes over the flowing hills and hidden caves are immersed in a realm of transformation, deception and seduction. In this first production by Skypunch COllective, movement, sound, landscape and body form an alliance to awaken the sublime, ancient connection to nature that flows through our roots.

Seltsame Gestalten verweilen zwischen den Bäumen, eine Kreatur wird aus einem Meer von Gras geboren und gefiederte Körper bahnen sich ihren Weg durch den Staub. Circe bietet einen Blick auf eine Landschaft voller Mythologie und Sagen. Wer seine Augen auf die fliessenden Hügel und verborgenen Höhlen wirft, taucht ein in ein Reich der Verwandlung, der Täuschung und der Verführung. In dieser ersten Produktion von Skypunch Collective gehen Bewegung, Klang, Landschaft und Körper eine Allianz ein, um die erhabene, uralte Verbindung zur Natur zu wecken, die durch unsere Wurzeln fliesst.

Spencer is dead, lying on a wet restaurant floor surrounded by broken glass. No-one in sight, only the open window blowing in the winds of doubt, guilt and circumstance. Six truly unique characters, intertwined by all being in the wrong place at the wrong time, plead their innocence through unconventional language, actions and dance movements while seemingly implementing the other suspects in this unusual crime narrative. Can you solve the riddles and unlock the mysteries to find the truth about what happened?

Spencer ist tot, er liegt auf dem nassen Boden eines Restaurants, umgeben von Glasscherben. Niemand ist in Sicht, nur das offene Fenster weht im Wind von Zweifel, Schuld und Umständen. Sechs wirklich einzigartige Charaktere, die alle zur falschen Zeit am falschen Ort waren, beteuern ihre Unschuld durch unkonventionelle Sprache, Handlungen und Tanzbewegungen, während sie scheinbar die anderen Verdächtigen in dieser ungewöhnlichen Kriminalerzählung umsetzen. Können Sie die Rätsel lösen und die Geheimnisse entschlüsseln, um die Wahrheit über die Geschehnisse herauszufinden?

Salt and Sugar begins with a memory. A comment from her mother reveals to Hema the impossible gap between who she is and who others demand her to be, leading to a tail-spin through growing up in a society teaching that a woman should not have dark skin. The film looks at the complexities of Indian culture through classical Indian dance, spoken word, contemporary movement and cultural references.

Salt and Sugar beginnt mit einer Erinnerung. Ein Kommentar ihrer Mutter offenbart Hema die unüberbrückbare Kluft zwischen dem, was sie ist, und dem, was andere von ihr verlangen, und führt zu einem Sturzflug durch das Aufwachsen in einer Gesellschaft, die lehrt, dass eine Frau keine dunkle Haut haben sollte. Der Film beleuchtet die Komplexität der indischen Kultur durch klassischen indischen Tanz, gesprochenes Wort, zeitgenössische Bewegung und kulturelle Referenzen.
