Andrea Boll
Founder ︱ Artistic Dir.
Andrea founded DANCE ON SCREEN in 2019 to provide a platform for dance film in Switzerland within an international context.
Through bollwerk.bollwerkfilm, she creates works across public spaces, nature, stage, and screen.
Her dance films and choreographic works are awarded internationally. With over thirty years of experience as a choreographer, performer, dance educator, dance film director, mentor, platform organizer, dance facilitator, and pain therapist,Andrea operates at the intersection of dance, film, and society. Her work combines artistic precision with embodied research, creating spaces of resonance between movement, image, inner experience, and audiences.
Rakesh Sukesh
Co- Curator ︱ Producer
Rakesh Sukesh, a versatile artist from Bharat (India) residing in Belgium, holds a master’s degree in art and culture management.
He is the co-director of the international dance festival Sanskar and the Sanskar Virtual Festival.
Rakesh is a performer, choreographer, teacher, and producer. With a dance foundation in Kalaripayattu, yoga, and contemporary techniques under Jaychandran Palazy, he currently performs with Ultima Vez, Rosana & Kenneth Company, and bollwerk.
He directed dance films ‘Tarq’ and ‘Stri’.
